This year's 2013 Oscar Awards will be held from the Dolby Theatre in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, California this February 24, 2013. It will air and broadcast live by ABC.
For this year, we get to see actor Seth MacFarlane host the event for the first time.
Various personalities and A-list stars are expected to grace the awards event. Vying for the honors of winning Best Picture include Amour, Argo, Django Unchained, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Zero Dark Thirty, Silver Linings Playbook and Les Miserables. This category would surely be hotly-contested. Argo just recently won the Critics Choice Awards for Best Picture and Best Director while Lincoln leads the nomination race with 12.
